Reptile Bulbs and Lamps
As with all creatures, reptiles are healthiest when living in their natural conditions. You can recreate such natural conditions at home using lamps and bulbs, thus promoting your reptiles health and natural activities.
5.0 and 10.0 UVB bulbs- These bulbs are perfect for sun-loving, desert reptiles and tortoises. Both bulbs produce UVA and UVB spectra found in sunlight, assisting in the natural prodution of vitamin D3. The bulbs also encourage feeding, breeding and healthy growth rates. As you can see these bulbs are a must for anybody who hopes to keep happy, healthy reptiles. The 5.0 UVB bulb is available in bth 15w 18" and 336w 48" and the 10.0 UVB bulb is available in 36w 48".
Moonlight lamps- Moonlight lamps, suitable for rainforest and nocturnal reptiles and amphibians, are specialist lamps that produce a blue hue, replicating natural moonlight. This promotes night time feeding and natural activities. They are designed for use in reverse photoperiod with UV daylight bulbs (also available from www.aquatic-store.co.uk). Moonlight lamps are a simple solution to the tiring problems posed by the keeping of nocturnal reptiles. The moonlight lamp is available in 18w 24" and 36w 48".
Feed Bowls
