Our Optimal Nutrition Live Zooplankton is a nutritious plankton feed suitable for many small polyped stony corals, large polyped stony corals, anemones, larval animals, and other reef carnivores such as Mandarinfishes that feed on small zooplankton. This product is intended as starter culture for reef aquarium use, it can be cultured outside of the aquarium or used to seed a refugium. Rotifers are an important first feed used worldwide in professional marine fish and invertebrate hatcheries. Copepods are an important form of zooplankton in the wild.
Grown and enriched with DT's phytoplankton for an optimal nutritional profile, this product is a source of Carotenoids, Sterols, Omega-3’s & Omega-6’s, Essential Amino Acids and Proteins.
A live product containing no artificial preservatives or additives.
