- G4 pond seal is a moisture cured, one component polyurethane which forms a non-porus, tough, durable but flexible seal. Seals porous substrates such as concrete, brick and porous stone. G4 will not seal concrete block or lightweight block, these need to be cement rendered before application of G4. In general it is advised that all substrates are rendered below the water line. G4 can be used at low temperatures, down to 0 degrees Celcius and in areas of relatively high humidity. G4 connot be used on bitumen but it will not damage butyl liners. G4 is easy and quick to use, simply brush on the recommended coats in a day.
- For Standard colour (clear) you need to apply 3 coats of the standard G4.
- For coloured (black) you need to apply 2 coats of standard G4 followed by 2 coats of coloured G4.
